This new studio enjoys spectacular views of the North Shore and is near restaurants, gas station, supermarket, beaches and situated along a major bus route. Sleeping accommodations suit up to three guests: 1 or 2 adults, and one child under 10.
Washer and dryer also available for visits of 7 nights or longer ONLY. Cable TV, radio CD player and DVD player available. Wireless internet is available.
Non-smokers and no pets. Extra towels and sheets are made available to you, but no maid service is provided. This is a self catering unit that you are expected to keep neat and clean please.
Garden has chairs to enjoy the view. The water from the property is clear and beautifully turquoise, and is great for swimming and snorkeling. It is important to note that access to the water is rocky and fairly steep: water shoes are a good idea to swim from this location.
Only 20 minutes to Hamilton and 10 minutes from the Airport.
Private access to the railway trail for walking or jogging.
Landfall Café 2 minute walk from the house, Bus stop- 30 seconds! Shelly Bay marketplace is a 15 minute walk away, where you can also purchase bus tickets. All you need access to for your vacation is within walking distance of this location: Post office, groceries, liquor, churches, and the beach if you are up for a good walk.
Mopeds can be rented from a shop called ‘Wheels’. Shopping in the neighbourhood includes a supermarket at the Shelly Bay Plaza and a small convenience store at the gas station at the end of Radnor Road. One half mile away there is another convenience store open until midnight. Grocery stores also sell liquor, wines and beer. Dry cleaners, a pizza parlor and a Post Office are nearby. Flatts Village is ten minutes away by bus (and is delightful village) with nice places to eat (the Palmetto Bay Hotel is particularly pleasant), gift and other shops, and the Aquarium and Zoo which are well worth a visit. Sports activities include tennis courts (which can be booked at reasonable rates) at Grotto Bay, which is five minutes away by bus.
Golfers will enjoy the St. Georges Club and there are numerous public courses. Hiking is enjoyable at Ferry Reach and St. Davids Head, two of the larger and more interesting parks. There is also Spittal Pond Bird Sanctuary and endless coastline areas to walk. Swimming and snorkelling are good on most beaches. However, Shelly Bay Beach five minutes from “The Bed and Breakfast”, is very safe, never has an undertow (as do many of the more turbulent South Shore beaches) and the caves around the headland offer excellent snorkelling. Tobacco Bay in St. Georges is a great beach year round – sheltered and with marvellous numbers of fish. Diving, sailing and windsurfing are all available at Grotto Bay which is nearby.

This apartment is a real gem. Our hosts were gracious, the views spectacular, and the area is very convenient to all Bermuda attractions. Reasonably priced, I would rate the experience a 10. We’ll be back!

I hesitated to comment on this property only because I didn’t want others to know about our little spot!
We stayed here on our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. It was clean, quiet, and the views were honestly BETTER than the pictures. That never happens. We were both in awe of this property. The bus stop is a few steps away. We were there for 9 days and purchased bus passes, which took us everywhere we wanted to go. If you want a relaxing place to stay, stay here. We can’t WAIT to get back here!

My husband and I will be arriving in Bermuda in 2 weeks, and I’m so glad you liked this place since it’s where we are staying too! I was a little bit nervous that the trees would block the view, but I’m glad to read your comments!
Molly Harms
No, the trees don’t block the view at all. I think you’ll be extremely happy with the view. I know we were. The pathway is a little steep down to the railway trail, but it’s not bad. We were extremely happy with this property and will DEFINITELY return here as soon as possible!

Was there alot to do around where the house is?

I stayed here w/my sister, it is beautiful. I have been to BDA 28 times. I have done the huge hotels but very expensive and do go to them to stroll or have a meal. This is very reasonable place and you can cook some meals as eating out is very expensive. If you like to be on your own and don’t need alot of amenities or room this is for you. A sm. store across the street to start food purchases on arrival and also for phone cards. Get a scooter to get around it is truly the only way to stop and see out of the way sites. Ask any other questions I am planning on going back this summer w/a daughter. marcia

@Brandi we didn’t find much to do right around the property but honestly, the bus pass was the best idea. we didn’t have to worry about renting a scooter (or driving it!) and if you want to have a Swizzle or two, it’s not far by the bus and you have a driver.
“downtown” (Hamilton) is a bit of a ride by bus (maybe 30 minutes or so?) but a great way to see the island and not have to worry about driving yourself around. when we go back, we will definitely stay at this property, and will definitely get another bus pass.
