WILDCAT ADVENTURE TOURS

The WildCat is a high-speed power catamaran, custom-built by Cougar Catamarans in Australia. She is equipped with two Caterpillar 1,000hp turbo-charged engines, and propelled by Seafury surface-piercing drives with four-bladed racing propellers. Adding to her speed, stability, and fuel efficiency is a stainless steel hydrofoil set between her two hulls, custom-designed for the Wildcat by Professor Gunther Hoppe in South Africa. The Wildcat is equipped with Raytheon Electronics radar and GPS systems, as well as a Clarion Marine Stereo System with 16 speakers and three sub-woofers, powered by three amplifiers.

The Wildcat was custom-designed to provide both locals and visitors with a sightseeing option previously unavailable in Bermuda Ð an entertaining two-hour tour that completely circumnavigates the island. The WildCat is also available for charter. She is equipped with two optional Bimini covers ideal for slow cruise spectating at such events as the Colorcraft Gold Cup match racing tournament, International Race Week or the Bermuda fitted dinghy racing. Other specialty events will include the annual Around the Island powerboat race, with the WildCat providing up-close and continual offshore viewing of the raceÕs progress.

Times: Daily 10 am & 2 pm, a 5 pm tour will be offered if demand warrants.
Duration: approximately 2 hours.
Location: The Flagpole, Front Street, Hamilton Ð daily except days and times listed below.
Wednesdays Ð St. GeorgeÕs from PennoÕs Wharf at 10 am & 2 pm.
Tuesday at 10 am & Thursday at 2 pm from Dockyard, Kings Wharf.
During each trip a well-informed tour guide will provide a running commentary on the scenery, highlighting the islands history, ecology, architecture and folklore.

Capacity: 48 seats

Rates: Tickets are $65 for adults and $40 for children under 12. Groups of 10 or more adults will receive a $5 discount per ticket.

Charter rates: $1,250 per hour, with a one-hour minimum. If the charter is displacing a regular tour, there will be a two-hour minimum. $2,500 for the 2 hour tour, for every additional hour, or part of an hour, $850. A credit card number will be required to secure the charter, with a deposit of 50% payable at least a week in advance of the tour and the remainder payable on the day of the cruise.

Day rate (Six hours) $5,000

Charter Cancellation Policy

A 50 per cent deposit must be paid at least one week before any scheduled charter, either by cheque, cash or credit card. If the party chartering the boat cancels during the week prior to the charter date, or does not show up for the tour, that 50 per cent deposit will be non-refundable. In the event that the charter has to be cancelled by WildCat Adventure Tours because of weather problems or mechanical difficulties, the deposit will be refunded in full.
