C11. Paget Apartment on Middle Road

The apartment is a spacious ground floor suite in an absolutely immaculate home in the central parish of Paget. The closest beach is the Elbow Beach area with its beautiful hotel and proximity to the main city of Hamilton. Such a location well suits the business traveler and those who want to be near city amenities and not too far from the surf. Paget features immaculately manicured gardens, old estates and glamorous hotels with flowers and pretty little roadside shops, galleries, cafes and churches everywhere you look.

The apartment is a crisp, cool space with full sized appliances in a generously proportioned kitchen , a king sized bed which can be split into two single beds on requests. There is a full four piece bath and air conditioning throughout for comfort. There is CABLE TV  as well and a comfortable sofa upon which to relax..

The rolling lawns are ideal for sunbathing ( but not too much- that sun is STRONG!) and there is a pretty banana patch and hibiscus flowers to admire.  The apartment is close to shopping and a convenient bus route (the #8) runs along Middle Road regularly to take you to Hamilton or out to Somerset and beyond.  Nearby are churches, a post office and a moped rental shop.  A short walk through the picturesque Railway Trail takes one to the #7 bus route which travels along South Shore Road to the beaches, the closest of which is the spectacular Elbow Beach Hotel which offers lunch, bar services and evening dining and entertainment for a sophisticated evening out. Other points of interest include the Paget Marsh Nature Reserve, beautiful Grape Bay Beach which is privately owned but worth a quiet walk over the hills to admire, and the Botanical Gardens with the handsome National Trust jewel of an old house "Camden" open to the public as a museum.
Elbow Beach is only 7 minutes walk away.

Laundry facilities can be  provided for extended stays, but clothes are line dried whenever possible due to the formidable cost of electricity,( which is generated by the burning of Venezuelan oil in Bermuda.) Ample linens are provided. Guests are asked to turn off air conditioning  and electric lights when they go out, and to conserve water at all times to help keep overheads low.
Nice places to dine would include the family style Paraquet Cafe , Elbow Beach Hotel which has the Sea Horse Grill and also Lido and
Mickeys which is on the beach,  Four ways Inn.  All of these are within 10 to 15 mins walking time, although Fourways is on the Middle Road and there are not any sidewalks there.  The majority of the other restaurants are in the city which is ten minutes by bus.We look forward to meeting you!
