The Warwick Garden Apartment and the two cottages are on the extensive estate located in a lovely part of Warwick not five minutes walk away from the Darrell's Wharf/Belmont ferry stop.  Ideally situated for guests not comfortable with renting mopeds, there is grocery shopping and a bus service within five minutes walk also.  The bus takes you over to the fabled South Shore Beaches in less than 10 minutes, and Elbow Beach is but a 20minute walk from the cottages. The Belmont Golf Course is virtually next door. BUS SERVICE TO BEACHES AND GROCERY STORE: There is a bus service along Middle Road every 15 minutes and it trundles past the supermarket. The # 8 Service travels from one end of the island to the other, with changes to other lines made at the central depot in Hamilton. The number 8 BARNES CORNER bus goes as far as Barnes Corner (approximately ten minutes) and then waits for 5 minutes before changing number to # 7 and proceeding along the South Shore Road past the major beaches, making a circular route. The nearest bus is a hundred yards away from where Middle Road meets the road the property is situated upon, and a 5minute walk maximum from the house.
The last ferry leaving Hamilton for Warwick is 9pm.
Sat. Sun and Public Holidays: last ferry leaves at 7pm.
Buses travel til  approx 11.45 leaving Hamilton (earlier on Sundays) and it takes 5 minutes to walk down the hill to the house. A cab fare from Hamilton is about $14.00.

THE STUDIO The suite is a spacious studio apartment, with the main room being 26 feet long. Sleeping arrangements are a Queen bed with an extra bed for a third party.  There is a private bathroom (shower, sink and toilet), and a small kitchen screened from view behind louvered doors.  A dining table and chairs are provided.  There is generous closet space, a TV, radio,  lots of paperback novels, games, jig saw puzzles, sewing basket, picnic cooler, etc.  The suite is very elegant, air-conditioned and with ceiling fans and is most attractively decorated.  There are two sets of French doors that open onto a 40 foot long bricked terrace sheltered by a pergola laden with flowers and vines. There is heat also in the cooler winter months.

THE ONE BEDROOM COTTAGE: the coral coloured cottage has a secret garden off the bedroom, and a larger garden behind the house where one can relax and barbecue your dinner after a day of playing on the beach, sightseeing or shopping. With a large eat-in kitchen, a small patio off the kitchen and fully separate livingroom (where up to 2 extra guests can stay on pop-up single beds) the cottage has a newly renovated bathroom equipped with a tub/shower combination, and the customary sink and toilet. The house has new carpeting in the bedroom and living room areas, pretty furnishings, new beds and appliances, and a pristine garden setting close to the fabled South Shore beaches. The bedroom is air-conditioned; the cottage proper is cooled with ceiling fans. Barbecue and Cable TV included with private phone. BERMUDA calling cards required to make long distance calls.

THE TWO BEDROOM COTTAGE is set well back into the lush tropical gardens of the estate and has a large private garden of its own, with flowering shrubs, rock walls, tropical plants and rambling roses. The garden is accessed through a tall flowering hedge flanking the wooden gate. For your comfort we have a queen bed in the master bedroom plus two single beds in the second bedroom. There are gleaming wood floors and freshly painted walls. There is a 4 piece bathroom and a spacious living room and dining room. Air- conditioned bedrooms, with ceiling fans throughout the rest of the house for your comfort. A barbecue is available as well private telephone. Please note: BERMUDA calling cards are required for long distance calls made from the island. The cottage has gorgeous thickly upholstered rattan furniture in living room, with coffee table, cable television etc.

The gardens throughout the estate are lovely and the pride and joy of the owner. The garden is so unusual that the Garden Club of Bermuda has tried to persuade the owners to permit inclusion of the house part of their special annual tours. Public transportation is particularly good, as there are two bus services and the ferry service across the harbour to Hamilton to choose from.  Many guests choose a bus/ferry pass system.  For the more adventurous, moped rentals can be easily arranged (SEE WEB SITE www.bermudarentals.com FOR LINK TO on-line MOPED RENTALS.) Nearby beaches include the magnificent Elbow Beach, Warwick Long Bay, Astwood Cove, Horseshoe Bay, and Church Bay, all on the beautiful southern shore coastline. Chaplin's Bay is the last word in romantic coves, private, with deep pink sand strewn with shells and can be found tucked in between Horseshoe and Warwick Long Bay, with its companion Stonehole Bay and Jobson’s Cove. These are the most magical pink sand coves on the island…bring a towel, a book, a pillow and a hat and a deluxe picnic because you won’t be able to tear yourselves away….We request that you bring your own beach towels with you: towels for the bathrooms are supplied, as are all other linens but no house linens can be taken to the shore, please. Marks and stains ruin them for household use thereafter.

These units are a  6 minute cab ride to Elbow Beach, where beach chairs, umbrellas etc. can be rented. Barbecues and Cable TV available. Other nearby beaches include Warwick Long Bay and Horseshoe Bay which are easily accessible by bus. All units have irons and hairdryers. Picnic coolers available for your beach party! ALL BATHROOMS HAVE SHOWERS ONLY.  $25.00 per day surcharge for third person AT THE STUDIO OR 1 BEDROOM UNITS .

Fresh linens provided. Your personal laundry can be done at a laundromat within a 10 minute walk. It is imperative you conserve electricity and water consumption- this is how this homeowner keeps her rates low for YOUR  benefit. Please turn off Air Conditioning when you are out of the house, and be sure to lock your accommodations securely. DO NOT LEAVE AIR CONDITIONING ON WITH THE WINDOWS OPEN PLEASE!

We encourage you to bring along a box of frozen or prepared treats providing you do not bring fresh fruits or vegetables. Coffee, teas, biscuits, frozen meat or fish, sweets and other delectables as part of your luggage will save you time as well as trouble upon arrival.  Have your taxi driver stop off on the way home for perishables or consider ordering foodstuffs to be delivered via the internet: see www.bermudarentals.com homepage for internet grocery delivery services.

This payment is considered a prepayment on the balance and is non refundable if you should need to cancel the reservation . Cancellations are extremely hard for us to back-fill, and the homeowner requires compensation should your plans change, above and beyond the 15% deposit made at the point of booking.
