Nestled on the top of the hill in a Private Estate near Pompano Beach Club with simply breathtaking unobstructed views of the Great Sound, South Shore, Pompano Flats and surrounded by the Port Royal Golf Course whose architect, is world renowned Robert Trent Jones Sr., who has been quoted as saying that Port Royal was his finest design outside of mainland United States. As such, this facility has pedigree, prestige and is an asset Bermuda can be proud of.

The Railway trail and scenic walking routes to explore are within walking distance for biking and exercising.  In addition to the close proximity to the Port Royal Golf Course & Driving Range you will also find, the Port Royal Gas Station & Convenience store (ATM machine) and across the street is a Playground, Maxi-Mart Supermarket (ATM machine), Traditions Restaurant, Pompano Beach Club Restaurants & Spa, Whale Bay Beach & Fort and Oleander Cycles which offers Moped Rentals.  The Rockaway Fast Ferry terminal is also within walking distance or the mini-bus service will transport you there.

Along the south shore coastline there are numerous parks and beaches to explore.  Down the hillside and along a winding path is the entrance to Whale Bay Beach with wonderful rock formations and the old Fort perched on the hill is exciting to explore and enjoy its spectacular views of Pompano Flats.  Swimming, snorkeling or just enjoy the crystal clear turquoise water and powder soft sands for children to play in is all there.  This beach needs only a picnic and a good book to make it perfect.  The much written about Horseshoe Bay, Warwick Long Bay and the dazzling Jobson’s Cove and Stonehole Bay all await you.The F. L. Wade International Airport is approximately 45 minutes away; whereas the Capital city, Hamilton is only 25 minutes by land or 15 minutes away by fast ferry from the Rockaway Terminal. However one does have the attractive option of visiting the West End.  Reserve a day to explore the Royal Naval Dockyard & Ireland Island.  A taxi, ferry, bus or the Mini bus will transport you to explore the meticulously restored historical buildings. The Clock Tower Mall houses a number of eclectic shops offering a variety of T-shirts, Jewelry, Souvenirs, Ice-Cream Shop, Restaurants and ATM machines.  Also available in the area you will find The Maritime Museum, Dolphin Park (where you can swim with the Dolphins), Snorkel Park Restaurant, Bar & Beach, craft shops, art galleries, pubs, cafes, shops and fascinating displays of items from Bermuda’s extraordinarily colorful past.  Or relax and take in a movie at the Neptune Theatre.

On the way there you will cross over the smallest drawbridge in the Western Hemisphere.  Located in that immediate area you will find the Somerset Bridge Post Office which offers free internet service for people who do not have a laptop.  The Railway trail is just a few steps away as is Somerset Bridge Ferry & Robinson’s Gas station & Marina where they offer you a number of water activities and tours.  Boat & Jet Ski Rentals, Snorkeling, Diving, Fishing to name a few.   
The charming little hamlet of Somerset Village is a mere 10 minutes away en-route to The Royal Naval Dockyard offering Banking facilities, Gym, Shopping, and Pharmacy & Restaurants.  Watford Bridge Ferry Service is just around the corner. We offer you traditional Bermudian Hospitality and invite you to be our guest at either of our Studio Suites W-05, W-018 or W-25 located in Southampton (all units rented, offer accommodations for 8 guests)  or at our newly renovated 3 Bed Room cottage, C-90 located in Warwick near the popular Elbow Beach Hotel & Beach facilities.

W05 amenities include: Monthly rates available upon request. Laundry facilities for an additional charge.19x13 Bedroom & bathroom En-suite, kitchenette. Sleeps 2. Ceiling fan. Rate:  $130.00. The facilities offered are a guest bedroom with a bathroom en-suite. The suite has its own entrance and patio with views of Pompano Flats as well as a private garden area with table & lounge chairs. The suite  is fully furnished with a  double bed, night stand with lamp, dresser, storage closet, breakfast table and chairs. Cable TV, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, Iron & ironing board, bed linen & towels, broom & dustpan. The homeowners are anxious that you enjoy yourselves and would like you to let them know if there is anything further they can do for you to make sure you are comfortable in this quiet family neighborhood.
