W12 is one of 3 luxurious villas on a large estate with cultivated gardens bridge the width of the peninsula, with a beach one side and ocean swimming from a dock on the other. With a protected sandy palm lined beach as well as a concrete dock facing the fabled south shore coast, this gracious home can be rented independently, or along with W09 and W14. The homes are separated by generous lawns and mature trees, and enjoy privacy in a quiet neighbourhood.

Each house has air conditioning in all bedrooms, and there are ceiling fans throughout the rest of the rooms. Wireless internet and cable TV are both available in each house. A destination wedding venue is a possibility: please email your inquiries.
These are gracious large family homes that have been furnished and adapted over the decades in the finest of summer house traditions. With an eye to casual and relaxed family vacations, these houses need to be lived in with respect and attention to their furnishings.
W09, with hill top views:
3 master bedrooms (King/Twins in one bedroom; queen beds in remaining 2 bedrooms) , each with ensuite bath room. Suits a total of 6 guests. Wireless internet, Cable TV, air conditioned bedrooms.
W12, ocean facing:
Large master bedroom with Queen bed and ensuite bathroom, and its own terrace. Second bedroom also has a Queen bed, and its own bathroom. Third bedroom has two Bunk Beds for a total of 4 single beds, and its own bath. There are also two day beds in the living room. Suits a total of 8 guests (plus the two on sofas in living room). Equipped with Wireless internet, Cable TV, and Air conditioned bedrooms.
W14, harbour facing:
Master (Queen), Queen bedroom, and Twin bedroom, each with ensuite. Additionally, there are 4 twin bunk beds and bathroom ensuite. Suits a total of 10 guests. Wireless internet, Cable TV, air conditioned bedrooms.
Each house has one bathroom with a tub in it: all the rest have showers.
Weber barbecues at all three homes- uses charcoal.
Maid service can be arranged for an extra charge.
Comfortably furnished in a traditional style and with great character, the houses are situated with great attention to maximizing the stupendous views each home enjoys. All homes have modern bathrooms, kitchens with every convenience, and outdoor areas with plenty of seating, tables and barbecues.
Your family reunion is complete with panoramic ocean and harbour views, 2 docks, a beach and terraces…
The ocean dock is great for swimming/snorkeling/fishing/launching kayak or serene sunning and sunset viewing. It is built right into the rocky coast and is very peaceful aside from the odd fishing boat heading out to the banks…there is also World Class Blue Marlin, Yellow fin tuna and Wahoo fishing charters available on boats that are docked at Robinsons Marina which is the closest harbour to the main fishing grounds of Challenger and Argus Banks. Robinsons Marina also offers power and sail boat rentals, water skiing instruction, jet ski tours, glass bottomed boat excursions and Scuba diving trips to the numerous ship wrecks on the tropical reefs surrounding the West end of the Island.
Somerset village is 5 miles approximately, but there is a super market with everything at the end of the road that is less than a mile walk. It is on the way to the cycle shop. Fast Ferry service from Rockaway Wharf is a few miles from the estate, easily reachable by bus down Middle Road.
The 3 homes don’t have a mooring that will hold a sail boat: the one on the property is only set up to hold a 22 foot center console due to low tide has only 2 feet of water at the bouy. The best solution for sail boat owners would be to call Robinson’s Marina at Ely’s Harbor and see if they have a transient mooring for rent. The marina has all boating supplies nearby as well. Robinsons Marina is less than a mile away. Another option is to moor the yacht at the Dock Yard which provides the best access to the Great Sound.
Good restaurants carpet the island: the fabled Tom Moore’s Tavern in Hamilton Parish, located at the waters edge and one of the oldest buildings on the island, The Waterlot Inn (built in the 1600′s) out in Southampton, Four~Ways Inn in the Paget Warwick area, The Reefs overlooking its own flawless beach on the South Shore Coast, Mickey’s on the Beach at Elbow Beach Hotel. Cambridge Beaches does fine cuisine as well. Your cab driver will have an idea of local spots to hit if local specialties are the sort of thing you’d enjoy….
