Close to home, you will have the pleasure of exploring the spectacular beaches along the southern coastline: Whale Bay and the stunning Church Bay offer wonderful South Shore snorkelling opportunities as well as pink, shell strewn beaches to explore (the famous ones such as Horseshoe Bay and Warwick Long Bay are renowned, but you will not want to miss the stunning trio of secret coves tucked between those two larger beaches- Chaplin Bay, Stonehole Bay and Jobson’s Cove. These three are the last word in romantic pink sand and gentle surf in splendid seclusion. Snorkelling equipment can be rented at Church Bay and several of the larger beaches such as Horseshoe). Closer than Hamilton for fine dining are the excellent facilities of The Reefs Resort in Southampton: their open-air Coconuts restaurant overlooking their private silvery sand beach will arrange a table on the beach with candles, full linens and silverware and delectable meal for your never-to-be-forgotten evening celebration. One must reserve ahead to make arrangements by calling: 441-238-0222.No reservations required for lunch however!

There are three golf courses nearby for you to play: Riddells Bay, The Belmont Golf Course, the Fairmont Princess Golf Club and the Port Royal Golf Course are all within 10 minutes of the property and each offers its own unique challenge.

A Southampton location is considered to be a very attractive option for visitors in the know. Although the locations in the closest proximity to the beaches of the South Shore tend to be in the most demand, the 22 mile length of the island and its width of less than a mile in most places means that access to those beaches is easy by bus or by moped and that’s only after you have savoured the pretty beaches in the immediate area….

Somerset Long Bay is a quiet beach in the West end that you will want to explore…as well as The Railway Trail, a meandering paved pathway through the countryside you can explore on foot or by moped . The Trail is the land right of way owned by the government for long defunct railway system. No cars or trucks are allowed upon it, so the amble will take you through beautiful park like settings overlooking the water and the interesting homes and gardens you would not otherwise notice.

Fine dining would include Cambridge Beaches in Somerset and the Newport Room of the Southampton Princess Hotel, as well as nice roadside cafes for breakfast or lunch.

The City of Hamilton also has lovely places to dine and shop, and in the summer months through to October, Harbour Nights on Front Street on Wednesday evenings is a sparkling outdoor market event. With live music, delicious food and unusual locally made items to buy, the street is shut to vehicular traffic and the better shops remain open. Everyone congregates happily til 10 pm. and then drifts off to window-shop, or investigate the night clubs, bars and cafes. The city is easily reached by bus, ferry (Rockaway Wharf is nearby) or moped, with taxis available to whisk you away home at the end of the evening.

We stayed at W15 from March 24-31 with our family to celebrate my husband’s circle 7 birthday. It was perfect in everyway. The kids and grandkids all had their own space. The kitchen totally equipped with anything you might need. Pool and garden areas breathtaking. Caretaker and housekeeper perfectly delightful. We took the bus everywhere, yet also walked the Rail Trail. We were in town for the Good Friday Balloon festival on Horseshoe Bay Beach. This house has it all. Enjoy your time!

We had a wonderful Christmas at W15. This quiet, spacious, private house has wonderful views and beautiful grounds. We especially enjoyed the mid-afternoon sun on the front porch and the morning sun by the pool. Having bus stops at the end of the driveway made getting to Hamilton and the Dockyards a breeze. The barbecue and well equipped kitchen made meals easy to prepare.

What an amazing piece of property! It was absolutely the perfect place for our family. When our granddaughter was napping, her mom and dad were perfectly content to swim and read at the pool. Sunrise and sunset were spectacular, and it was interesting to watch the cruise ships come in and leave. We knew we were going to be there for a holiday, but we didn’t know about Cupmatch and the cross island rivalry. That was fun to be a part of! We were frequently asked who we were rooting for…and wisely answered Somerset since they were “our” side of the island. We hope to be able to come again someday, and, if we haven’t outgrown that house, we will want to return to [W15]. Thanks again for facilitating our Bermuda week! Lots of memories to enjoy over and over again.

We had a wonderful experience during our trip to Bermuda. The young kids traveled well and settled in to [W15] very quickly. The house was perfect for our situation with the pool, proximity to the bus stop and quality of the property. [The taxi driver] Mr. Outerbridge was everything you billed him to be and more. Thanks to [the groundskeeper], the grounds are spectacular and very well cared for (you can just tell that he really cares about the property). Thanks for your help. We’ll certainly go back to Bermuda.

We wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay in this house. It has an amazing view and the pool setting is fabulous. It was centrally located making trips around the island fairly easy. [The housekeeper and groundskeeper] were also very helpful.and very nice- I can’t believe [the groundskeeper] is able to do these grounds all by himself. Melvin was extremely helpful and entertaining. He is a great asset. Thank you for your help in arranging our rentals. Even with the “bad” weather from Debbie, it was gorgeous almost every day. I can see why you choose this house to stay in yourself.
