The luxuriously appointed waterfront house has a main floor walkout apartment featuring two full bedrooms and 2 and a half bathrooms. It will suits up to four persons comfortably, with the possibility of an extra guest in the living room pull-out single sofa. With a full kitchen, 2 and a half bathrooms, a proper dining room, a large living room, laundry facilities ($10 per load) and a fireplace (as well as air-conditioning and heat in the winter time ) this very handsome house is in a neighborhood of rare distinction. Across the front of the property is a lovely walled garden and patio overlooking the water for quiet times at home watching the sun set and the stars come out. When you step from the master bedroom, you can dive into the water for a refreshing morning dip.
The master bedroom has a King bed (can also be configured into 2 singles) with its own private bathroom. The second bedroom has a Queen bed and its own private washroom as well. There is a two piece bath off the living room for the guest who sleeps on the roll-out sofa in the living room. The furnishings are new, handsome and comfortable. There is a charcoal barbecue for guests to use. A hair dryer is provided for guests' use.
Telephone calling cards are also required for guests anticipating making overseas calls while on holiday.
The ferry at Darrell’s Wharf is but a moments walk down the road; the ferry will whisk you off into Hamilton and to the bus terminal in town where you can easily make connections to all points island wide. Mopeds can also be delivered if you would prefer to have your own transportation available.
You can readily swim from the dock (and shower on the dock level as well), but if its pink and golden sand you are after, the closest beach to the house is Elbow Beach about 7 minutes away by moped or taxi, or a 15 minute brisk walk.. The closest bus stop is 7 minute walk over to Middle Road and Cobbs Hill. There is a grocery store and an ATM machine within a five minute walk of the house.
Please note: there is a dog and a cat in residence. We ask guests not to let them indoors, cute as they are, so as to keep the apartment allergen free.
