Our apartment suits 2 guests who want to be tucked up in an elegant high end neighborhood near the great South Shore beaches, Horseshoe Bay and Warwick Long Bay. With a pool and views from the pool-deck overlooking the Great Sound, there are many good places to dine as well, and good bus service (#7 and #8) along Middle Road to the beaches, Hamilton or Dockyard. Sunny, bright, comfortable.
The apartment has a full kitchen with a stove, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and gas BBQ. There is Wi-Fi (90Mbps- the opportunity to increase speed is available if the tenant pays for the upgrade) and cable TV included. For guests who need it there are laundry faciltities as well as an iron/ironing board provided. Bath and beach towels are provided for your use. Come see us soon!
There are two puppies, Poppy and Roxie located within the homeowners fenced yard. Both are very friendly and are fenced in on the other side of the house, away from the pool. They are not to be allowed in the rental unit however you can play with them!
Heron Bay Market is the nearest grocery store to the unit. Gulf Stream restaurant and Warwick Swizzle restaurants are very close by – and very reasonably priced.
Warwick Parish is a particularly nice location because of the variety of activities nearby and its elegant park layout. Quite apart from the stunning array of beaches that proceed up the coast from Elbow Beach to the gorgeous Church Bay in Southampton, one can also ride horses at (Spicelands Riding Centre) along the beach at Warwick Long Bay, or picnic at the very well serviced public park that extends from Astwood Cove to Horseshoe Bay. The South Shore Road’s elevation rises as you proceed from east to west along the South Shore. The panorama unfolds as the road climbs until one has simply dazzling views over the ocean at dawn, in the moonlight, or at lunchtime as you head off to the surf and the seashells. There are nice cafes and pubs in this district. The revamped Belmont Course is also located nearby, as well as the attractions of the nearby Fairmont Southampton Hotel and its extensive Golf Course as well. Warwick is renowned for its lovely neighborhoods and quiet wooded hills overlooking the ocean. On the harbour side of Warwick Parish, Harbour Road is a twisting coastal drive that provides spectacular views across the water to the host of little islands and the pretty city of Hamilton beyond. The ferry connection can take one all around the harbour and out to Naval Dockyard for sightseeing. Mopeds can be loaded on the ferry too so one can jump off and explore further. Hamilton has lovely shops and places to dine, spa facilities and a pleasant ambience for evening strolling. In the summer months, Harbour Nights on Front Street is a Wednesday night marketplace event with many shops staying open to 9 pm. As a central location, forays out to St. George’s or Somerset are easily managed.
