The beach access is a comfortable 5 minute walk down the private path to the shore. Closer to hand is the beautiful hot tub – perfect for evening. Located between the Fairmont Southampton Hotel and the fabled South Shore coastline with all its dining establishments and water-sports attractions, the apartment has every convenience: places to dine, bars, taxi services and golf. If going to sleep to the sound of the surf on the sands is your idea of heaven, this is the property for you. On the enormous balcony you can watch the moonrise, listen to the rain, enjoy your meals, detect the first rays of dawn in the clouds over the ocean, and rest yourself completely.
The apartment has a very spacious and comfortably furnished living room, a dining room for 6, and a full sized kitchen as well as a large gas BBQ. With laundry facilities and every convenience (WiFi- 100Mbps the opportunity to increase speed is available if the tenant pays for the upgrade, cable, air conditioning), your family will be able to unpack and happily relax for the duration.
The nearest bus stop is on South Shore Rd and Middle Rd, roughly a 4 minute walk from the property. The Bermuda Railway Trail, which spans 18 miles of Bermuda, is ideal for walking, biking, and scenic tours (an access point is only 5 minutes away). Gibbs Hill Lighthouse is also within walking distance and provides 360 degree views from its upper viewing station, and a very highly regarded dining establishment on the ground level. Horseback riding at Spicelands Academy along the Ridge and the South Shore trails includes sunrise and sunset guided tours. The Academy is only 5 minutes away by taxi or moped. Smatt’s Cycle Livery is located next to the Fairmont Southampton Hotel if you choose to rent and ride a moped or a pedal bike. A free hotel shuttle that runs near the house will take you to and from the hotel grounds including the beach if you choose not to walk. Our location close to the Fairmont Southampton Hotel grounds provides ready access to all the hotel’s amenities including golf (Turtle Hill Golf Club, winner of Golf Digest’s Best Places to Play Golf), tennis, hiking trails, Willowstream Spa, business center and five top-ranked restaurants offering some of the finest dining in Bermuda: Waterlot, Ocean Club, Bacci’s, Newport Room Gastro Pub, Beach and Pool Terraces.
