Please be advised this property requires a $1,000 refundable damage deposit and a lease to be signed.

A car may be made available for an extra fee for those guests with a valid Bermudian driver’s license.

Our pretty listing is located in a flawlessly cultivated, immaculate neighbourhood called Jennings Land, located between Middle Road and the North Shore Road in Smiths Parish. This wonderful home offers 4 bedrooms each with a Queen bed, 2.5 bathrooms (shower only-no tub), a pool, A/C as well as ceiling fans, cable TV, DVD player, Wi-Fi, a hair dryer, an iron/ironing board, high chair and a full kitchen that includes a fridge/freezer, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker (standard drip & Keurig), gas BBQ and all the pots and pans you could need. All bed linen, bath and beach towels are provided. For guests with young children a pack n play can be rented at an additional cost. This unit is self-catering, if you'd like maid service to be provided there would be an additional charge. Please be advised there are stairs down to the pool. There is snorkel equipment at the house for your use.

Nearby Attractions

The house is within walking distance of Flatts Village (with its high end restaurants, the Aquarium and some very pretty shops). This central location lends itself to tremendously easy transportation options along the North Shore and Middle Road buses, if you are not comfortable with mopeds. The closest South Shore beach is John Smith’s Bay (2 miles away) which is a well-kept local secret- a quiet beach with deep soft pink sands that slope into quiet waters without the buffeting of heavy wave action or undertows. Spittal Pond Nature Reserve is another one to visit as its an extraordinary park with migratory birds that flock to the marsh, sunk between the coastal hills and the ridge along which the South Road meanders. The coastline here is quiet wild- rock pools and crashing waves, driftwood and the reefs clearly apparent above the swells. Bring stout shoes, drinks and sunscreen and go exploring! Smith’s Parish is adjacent to the Hamilton Parish enclave of the rich and famous in Tucker’s Town- you’ll enjoy touring this area with its magnificent homes, vast wooded hills and the sweeping golf courses: lunch or dinner can be enjoyed at the Tucker’s Point Resort or at Tom Moore’s Tavern or at Indigo’s or Rustico’s in Flatts Village when you feel like an elegant night out.

Hamilton is only 5.48 kilometres (3.4 miles) from C116 and the bus stop heading west into Hamilton is just a couple of minutes walk away on the North Shore Road- or up the hill on Middle Road. There is a good grocery store at the foot of Collectors Hill, 3 miles away (a pharmacy is located there as well)- but many folks like to stop off at Harrington Hundreds Grocery store (4.6 miles away) where orders can be pre-prepared and picked up on your way in from the airport. Specialty Inn, a family style restaurant is in the same mini plaza at the crossroads of South Shore Road and Collector’s Hill. Flatts Village is also about 5 minutes ride away overland: Rustico, one of the best Italian restaurants on the island is located in the village as is Pizza Chef (they do home deliveries) and a fantastic sandwich shop. Other great points of interest would be The Underwater Institute, the Crystal Caves, the Botanical Gardens and the 1926 Aquarium which is a small zoo and museum. It makes an excellent day activity with its exceptional set of displays and a lovely gift and book shop and cafe. Other good restaurants in the area would include the lovely dining facilities at the Tucker’s Point Resort.

Bus and ferry passes can be purchased  at the Aquarium or at any local post office.

You do not need to worry about having to purchase water, but we do try to conserve all the time. Please- no long showers, don’t leave water running while washing dishes or brushing teeth! As far as electricity consumption is concerned, the air-conditioning is the big ticket item. Please switch it off when you head out for the day: it will only take a few minutes to restore comfort on your return. Use the clothesline instead of the dryer …dryers eat electricity. There is an allotment of $200.00 a week included in power: any overage is taken from your damage security deposit of $1,000.00 ($2k for stays of 2 weeks or more).
