Tucked away in the western reaches of the island, in an area that is rich with flower filled country lanes, lies this gorgeous cottage. It is the perfect getaway for two with a Queen bed and ensuite bathroom (shower). The kitchen is equipped with a gas range, dishwasher and fridge. There are laundry facilities within the cottage for your use. The grounds are abundant with specimen trees, shrubs, flowers and surrounded by bird song. The cottage and main house are set back from the road and accessed via an avenue of native cedar trees draped in Spanish Moss, or via a separate path that skirts an immense rubber tree.
The cottage has a Queen bed with ensuite, the kitchen has a gas range stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer. It is fully air conditioned, with ceiling fans. WiFi (500Mbps- the opportunity to increase speed is available if the tenant pays for the upgrade) throughout plus SMART TV and Blu-ray and DVD players. Landline telephone - local calls only.
Outside, the Alice in Wonderland like gardens meander through various courtyards offering multiple choices of places to sit, relax and reflect. To the rear of the property is a private path that will take you down to the beach a few steps away, ideal for daytime sunbathing or moonlit swimming. The patio is furnished with a comfortable seating area, a dining table and a gas BBQ in a beautifully lit sunken garden.
If you can pry yourself away from this restful haven by the ocean, Somerset Village is a delightful 10 minute walk along the edge of Mangrove Bay. There are multiple dining options close by, including the adjacent high end resort which also offers a spa, bike rental, water sports rentals and other amenities. Grocery shopping is a short 10 minute walk. This property offers charging for both the Twizy and Oleander electric vehicles.
