Fantastic Stay!

We loved our stay, and hosts, who were so kind and helpful. We spent time daily scuba diving with Dive Bermuda (highly recommend this company), ate a delicious meal at The Village Pantry (we are vegan and they had great options), enjoyed the Swizzle Inn, the Birdcage and all of the beaches. Almost every beach we explored had reef and fish, clear water and beautiful sand. We found little coves and places to explore everywhere and our moped was great to get us around. The house itself was the perfect size for a couple. We cooked a lot and they had everything we needed. The backyard garden was gorgeous and all ours to enjoy. From the house we walked to the sunset (5 minute walk) at Spanish Point, swam at Admirals Park (10-15 minute walk) and even cliff jumped there. The turquoise water, nice people and quietness of Pembroke (and Bermuda) makes us want to come back again. C10 was clean, quiet and perfect for us.

Amazing time!

I have had an amazing stay in Bermuda. Actually, I was supposed to be going to Miami on that trip, but due to circumstances I ended up in Bermuda and weirdly enough I am grateful for that. Now all my friends and family know Bermuda is the next place to go to. I especially liked Tom Moore's Jungle and Warwick Beach.

Absolutely perfect!

Just back from a lovely one-week stay at C10 in Spanish Point, Pembroke. The location was PERFECT…only 12 minutes to downtown Hamilton on the #4 bus (the bus stop is about 2 minute walk, max), 7-10 minutes by taxi (approximately $10-12 to Front Street) or 7-10 minutes by scooter (we didn’t rent scooters, though). We bought a one-week bus pass (very affordable) and used the busses to get around to every area of the islands, from St. George to Dockyard and everywhere in between). The only time we needed to use taxis was after the last bus to/from Spanish Point at 6:12 p.m. The public transport system is actually quite good, but some routes can get crowded when the cruise ships are in. The owners are the nicest people we have ever met and treated us just like family! We will definitely be back because of them. Very genuine Bermudian people. [The home owner] drives his own taxi, so if you make arrangements with him he will happily take you wherever you want. The very affordable studio apartment was super cozy and had everything we needed, including an ample kitchenette (apartment-sized fridge, stove/oven, sink, cupboards and all necessary cookware). There was also a nice dining area inside, as well as outside on the beautiful patio. The king-size bed was very comfortable, and there was ample linens & towels provided, including separate beach towels. There is also a TV with tons of channels, including many American channels. The bathroom is large and clean and stocked with extra towels. While there’s no ocean view from the room itself (there is a lovely garden view, though), you can see the north shore from the top of the driveway and on the walk to the bus stop which actually sits on the edge of the water. There is also a small local grocer (M. Soares & Sons) about 2 minutes walk away down a back laneway which has everything you need from fresh produce, meat & fish, to dry goods and wine, beer & rum…and everything in between! And the prices are on par with the larger grocery stores in town. They are very friendly people and it’s well worth a stop to stock up for your stay. Within minutes you can walk to Spanish Point Park, as well as Admiral’s Point Park, which have great views and would be excellent picnic spots. All in all, we had an amazing first trip to Bermuda and we are already talking about going back! Bermuda is not a cheap destination (compared to many destinations such as the Caribbean), however Bermuda Accommodations Inc. offers such affordable alternatives to the pricey hotels. If you have any questions, feel free to ask! 🙂

My stay at C10 was wonderful and very comfortable . It was just a few days after Hurricane Mathew left but the island and Spanish point were up and running as if nothing had happened. It was a quick walk to the bus stop. Loved the little grocery store. It had all I needed. I’ll be back!
