Our lovingly restored 1 bedroom cottage in Paget Parish overlooks the Hamilton Harbour. Only a 15 minute walk to Elbow Beach.

This wonderful cottage offers air-conditioning, cable TV, Wifi (125Mbps, the opportunity to increase speed is available if the tenant pays for the upgrade), and a charcoal BBQ. 180 degree water views directly over the Harbour, patio lounging chairs, sun loungers, outdoor table and chairs, sun umbrella and hammock. The cottage is situated behind the main house and is therefore very quiet and totally protected from traffic.

The property does not suit children. Pets are welcome with a $250 deposit paid on arrival to cover the costs of deep cleaning the apartment after departure. Please be advised that the homeowners do have a Miniature Schnauzer dog in the main house.

Full kitchen: Fridge/freezer, electric range, microwave, toaster oven, electric kettle, toaster, cafetiere (French press coffee pot), Nespresso coffee machine, and a standard-drip coffee maker in the kitchen. There is cable TV in the living room and a private charcoal kettle BBQ for the cottage.

No maid service: cleaning materials supplied and maid service for an extra charge. The Cottage is completely independent and self-catering. It consists of a living room with an open wood-burning fireplace. There are steps up to the bedroom above and steps down to a private terrace overlooking the water. Off the living room is a fully-equipped eat-in kitchen and the small bathroom which has a generous-sized shower (no tub) and heated towel rail for dry towels. Beach towels will be provided.

Up the stairs is the loft-style bedroom and dressing room. There is a king size bed and lovely water views on three sides. Furnishings are simple but comfortable and comprehensive. There is reverse cycle air-conditioning for use if needed. There is also a variable speed ceiling fan in the bedroom.

The house is a fresh and spacious home in the centre of every attraction available locally: the beach, the main town of Hamilton, and easy access to transportation west to Somerset and the attractions of Dockyard (museums, pubs, dolphins!) or east to Crystal Caves, Flatts Village and St George’s- and all the parks and beaches in between… Perhaps most importantly, the house is situated close to the greatest length of coastal beaches on the island. The fabled South Shore commences with Grape Bay and Elbow Beach, and carries on, uninterrupted, to the west through Warwick to Southampton Parish to Church Bay. One bus meandering down that coastline will give you a new beach to fall in love with every day for 10 days. One of the other great attractions of the cottage is its proximity to the main city of Hamilton. Such a location well suits the business traveler, for shopping and the cute bars and places to dine.

Beach chairs are rented at Elbow Beach from May onwards. The closest restaurants are Mickeys On The Beach at the Elbow Beach Resort, and Aurora at Newstead Resort (the Newstead Resort also offers a spa and tennis courts). If you are looking for a convenience store, the closest would be Lindos or A1 Supermarket. Oleander’s is nearby for moped rentals, and the closest bus stop is a 5 minute walk away on Middle Road, by the end of Chapel Road. The nearest ferry stop is Hodson’s Ferry stop near Newstead, no more than a 5 minute walk from C108.

Paget Parish features immaculately manicured gardens, handsome and historically significant estates with magnificent gardens, glamorous hotels, flowers and pretty little roadside shops, galleries, cafes and churches everywhere you look.

A short walk takes one to the #7 bus route which travels along South Shore Road. The spectacular Elbow Beach Hotel offers lunch, bar services, evening dining and entertainment for a night out.

Nearby Amenities

Modern Mart Grocery Store. Paraquet Restaurant family style diner is a 15 minute walk. High end dining facilities nearby would include the various restaurants at the Elbow Beach Hotel, Four Ways Inn, The Reefs, Blu at the Belmont Golf Course, The Fairmont Princess Hotel and The Waterlot, as well as many others in Hamilton. There are some very good roadside cafes and pubs too.

Smatt’s Cycle Livery or Oleander Cycles will come and pick guests up who want to use mopeds.

Full flight details are required for pick up service at the airport: the taxi fare is not included but will be a metered driver. Golf arrangements can also be made.

Laundry facilities are provided, but clothes are line dried whenever possible due to the formidable cost of electricity (which is generated by the burning of Venezuelan oil in Bermuda). Ample linens are provided. Guests are asked to turn off air-conditioning  and electric lights when they go out, and to conserve water at all times to help keep overheads low. We look forward to meeting you and making you most welcome!

There is a strict no smoking policy in effect. There is a smoke alarm fitted, a fire blanket and two small fire extinguishers in the kitchen. The home owner is not liable for any loss, damage or personal injury while the guests are on this property. Guests must take steps to ensure that they have adequate insurance to cover such eventualities and be aware of this stipulation. We ask guests to switch off lights and the AC when they go out, and be parsimonious with the water so precious island resources may be preserved.

A perfect staycation

Highly recommend this quiet, comfortable, quaint cottage on a lovely estate with dock. The two-storied cottage is well appointed, with a small but attractive lounge, kitchen and bathroom (shower only) on the ground level, and a large airy bedroom with king bed upstairs. Bermuda art abounds throughout. The patio is where we ate and relaxed, enjoying the sublime views of Hamilton Harbour and the city of Hamilton skyline, plus great sunsets! The cottage is convenient to the cute ferries for short journeys to the small city of Hamilton or onwards to Dockyard where there is so much to do including the National Museum, a small Bermuda art gallery, marina, dolphins, shops, restaurants, etc. From the property a short walk will take you to the bus routes, or further to beautiful Elbow beach.

Perfect for relaxation

C108 cottage served us perfectly. It was centrally located, near food stores and restaurants not to mention beaches. Quiet location with the greatest views. Oleander provided us with a moped for two, we rode all over. Beaches were empty, so was Hamilton on this occasion. Cottage was exactly as seen in the pictures. King size bed was comfy. Kitchen was well equipped. We celebrated our 41st wedding anniversary on this trip. We liked it very much and will probably be back in the future. -Joe & Nancy

Perfect place

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property, and would definitely stay there in the future. The location is very central on the island, so renting an EV or moped isn't really necessary - safer and less expensive to take a taxi. Five minute walk gets you to a ferry to Hamilton and a fifteen minute cab ride gets you to Horseshoe Bay. The property is surprisingly private, and the deck overlooking the sound is the perfect place to both start, and finish the day. The unit is well appointed and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is complete with everything you need to prepare a good meal. All and all, the perfect place to stay for 2 adults - in the perfect spot, Bermuda. P.S. the property owners are lovely as well.

Our Happy Place escape

This was our second stay. The property and cottage does not dissapoint. The owners are very friendly :) The views of Hamilton Harbor are amazing and full of activity. We enjoyed watching the Bermuda Longtails in flight and were especially entertained watching the children from BUEI learn to sail.

Generous and kind

Our honeymoon was belated, three years+ some, to be exact. As the holidays came around, the timing seemed to be the best. I just finished school so it was perfect to celebrate not only our honeymoon, graduation, but also the new year. Very early into our stay we were involved in a motor vehicle accident and Kenny was rushed to the hospital. We started to become concerned for where I would be able to stay at nights, after our reservation would end. The rental owners for C108 were extraordinary people. They opened their home to me and helped keep me sane through it all. I truly am thankful for their generosity and kindness. They are rare gems in a century where geniality is hard to come by. They offered their cottage for an additional week and stated they would have allowed more time if needed but had more tenants coming January 12th. The coordination between the rental owners and myself was through Bermuda Accommodations. The company stepped in and helped where they could. They always checked in on our progress and was very caring. They offered any additional help that my husband and I needed. Due to missing our window back to the states on the 4th of January, Bermuda Accommodations coordinated with the property owners and myself for continued lodging. If we needed even more of a continued stay, Bermuda Accommodations personally helped find another property and at a reduced rate. I was very thankful as it provided peace of mind knowing I wouldn’t have to worry where I was going to go after the two weeks were up and January 12th rolled around. Thankfully, the hospital released my husband for transportation January 11th and we were able to fly back to the states. We currently are still recovering and slowly getting our lives back together. Overall, we are grateful for all the help and support we had in Bermuda. One day we hope to make it back and truly get to enjoy the Island in all it’s rich history and beauty.

What a fabulous place!

My husband and I stayed at C108 in October. The weather was gorgeous and warm, and the cottage was perfection. My mother is Bermudian so I have been going to Bermuda since I was a baby. The main house along with the cottage are characteristic of old Bermuda homes and the large estate is full of beatiful trees and flowers. The harbour location was perfect for swimming, with a close up view of Hamilton whilst you relax on the veranda watching the sunrise and sunset. The ferry stop to Hamilton is literally a two minute walk from the cottage. The interior of the cottage is prettily decorated with lots of artwork including beautiful watercolors by the owner (a well known Bermudian artist). Paget is a beautiful parish. The grocery store and bus stop are within walking distance. The property manager was congenial and extremely helpful to us. I can’t recommend this property or the island enough - - Bermudians are the friendliest people you will ever meet, courteous and generous to visitors. The island is a colorful jewel in the middle of the ocean. Pure paradise.

C108 was AMAZING! The cottage is VERY well equipped with everything you might need. (including iron & blow dryer) The binder that is provided gives great tips & tools to make your stay even better. The location is central to the island. A 20 minute hike across the island to one of the best beaches. Five minute walk to the ferries that takes you across to Hamilton. A 10 minute hike to the bus stop that can take you either direction. At night the taxi to the cottage ranges from $12 - $15 USD. There is not a bus stop that runs along Harbour Road, so be prepared to taxi it home after being out on the town. The deck outside has a million dollar view of the water and Hamilton with direct water access down the large property. Should be noted that the deck is actually larger than it appears in the photos provided. You can sit on the lounger, have a beverage and read all while enjoying the incredible view. Or if you feel like it go on the hammock under the shaded trees. The resident property manager responds VERY quickly to any questions. I would say concerns, but we never had any! The designs details of pictures and personal touches were very nice. Kitchen is VERY well equipped with anything you might need. The bathroom is small but I did not care as it had a basic shower, which is all I needed. Something to NOTE: the cabin is exceptionally clean with no bugs. The only time you might experience the tiny little ants is if you leave food out - which you would or should not do in any tropical location. The counters in the kitchen are white so trust me I looked. The only concern to people considering booking the cabin is the stairs to the bedroom. I did not have an issue as I was very careful. If you have to get up often in the middle of the night or have bad knees they are steep. This was my first visit to Bermuda and if I were to come back this is the place I would stay. The neighourhood is very quiet (except for the tiny brown frogs at night chirping) and beautiful. I easily give the cottage a 5 stars plus!

Will definitely return!

This is our 11th trip to Bermuda and C108 is our new favorite place to stay! An extraordinary view and central location helped to make this our new preferred home away from home when visiting the island. We couldn't be happier with our experience. Many thanks to our gracious host for providing the setting for a glorious holiday!

Perfect place for a long weekend in Bermuda!

We had a wonderful stay at C108! It was perfect for two - with a nice patio and dock for swimming. The location was great - although your restaurant choices within walking distance is very limited. The ferry is just a couple minutes away by foot which can easily take you into Hamilton. We did that a few times for dinner and took a taxi home as the ferry stops at 6ish on weekends and 8 ish during the week. We rented scooters from Oleander Cycles. I highly recommend renting scooters if you want to have the freedom to explore the island. We spent one day exploring the shops and beaches in St.George and the next day checking out beaching along the way to the dockyard. It's a bit nerve racking at first because it's pretty curvy and getting used to driving on the left!! The property manager was very receptive to our needs and even left milk and muffins for us as our flight got in very late. We found some great place to eat, The Swizzle, and The Hog Penny were great. Beau Rivage was just next to the ferry stop. We didn't eat there but did enjoy their tapas bar (I forgot the name) Really we didn't have a bad meal the whole time we were there. This was our first trip to Bermuda. Our entire trip was amazing! We plan on going back someday and would definitely stay at C108 again!! Thank you {homeowner} (wish we could have met you) for sharing your wonderful cottage with us!

The BEST place!

Our trip was AMAZING!!! C108 is honestly one of the best spots I think to stay. Seeing other cottages on the water or hotels lots had signs no swimming from dock. We used the dock and the slide. Which was pretty bad ass by the way. The property is stunning. We would def rent c108 again in a heartbeat.
