Our air conditioned house has two bedrooms for rent as part of this delightful B&B accommodation in Paget as well as a separate cottage that can be rented. For guests in the B&B rooms, we offer a lovely continental breakfast (Parrot & Garden room guests only) for your enjoyment, so we do not advise bringing any frozen or pre-prepared food since there are not adequate storage facilities.

Our lovely poolside home is a fine example of traditional architecture from 1928 and has been lovingly renovated over the last 20 years to provide an up to date home with modern facilities.

The attractively designed swimming pool has been built in an old Bermuda stone quarry, with careful landscaping and surrounded by a wooden security fence, and wooden gates to provide a safe environment for young children.

The large garden has mature flowering trees, many varieties of fruit trees, and local endemic plants. There are flower beds, a bank of wild freesias, and jonquils in the spring, a vegetable garden and two banana patches.

On the ground floor there is an entrance foyer with a sitting room to the right, and dining room to the left. On passing through the dining room you enter a small den/breakfast room on the way to the modern kitchen, laundry room and downstairs powder room, which is conveniently located next to the back door. The main modern kitchen may be made available for simple meal preparation with permission of the home owners, however there is a small kitchen on the main floor available for guest use as well as a BBQ outside.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms.

The Parrot bedroom has a 4 poster double bed (54″ wide, 78″ long), and a large modern bathroom with a tiled shower.
 The Garden bedroom has a 4 poster queen bed (60″ wide, 84″ long), and a large ensuite bathroom.

The B&B has wireless internet access for your convenience. The owners offer a continental breakfast (Parrot & Garden room guests only) with fresh fruit in season, fruit juice, yogurts, cereals, toast/pastries, home-made jams, tea and coffee, and sometimes fresh eggs.

There is plenty of outdoor seating at the B&B. Enjoy the large covered front verandah with table and chairs, plus a set of comfortable garden chairs. Off of the kitchen there is a spacious patio for summer weather with a wooden table, umbrella, and six wooden chairs. Or you may choose to relax on the pool deck beside the house. Beach towels provided upon request.

The Cottage has a queen bed in the bedroom and a queen pull-out sofa bed. There is a full kitchen which includes an oven, gas stove, fridge, freezer, coffee maker (braun standard drip), kettle and toaster. A BBQ can be made available upon request. The bathroom has a tub and shower combination. There is cable TV, WI-FI air-conditioning, an iron & ironing board, hair dryer as well as laundry facilities.

There is a Twizy car charging station and an extension cord available for charging other types of electric vehicle rentals.

Nearby Attractions

The house is situated near Middle Road in Paget, and is close to the bus stop to Hamilton, and Hodgson Ferry stop (Pink Route) just off Harbour Road. It is a ten minute walk to Elbow Beach public beach along the tribe road, which is just on the other side of Middle Road. Elbow Beach is one of the prettiest beaches in Bermuda, and for a small charge members of the public can rent beach equipment from the rental shop of the Elbow Beach Hotel.

There are restaurants within easy walking distance and there is a supermarket just down the road, as well as a pharmacy and post office where bus and ferry passes/tickets can be purchased. Nice places to dine would include the family style Paraquet Cafe, the Sea Horse Grill at Elbow Beach Hotel, the Four Ways Inn, and also Lido and Mickeys which is on the beach. All of these are within 15 minutes walking time, although Four Ways is on the Middle Road. The majority of the other restaurants are in the city which is ten minutes by bus.
