Located near Gibbs Hill Lighthouse and the wonderful beaches along the South Shore coast, including Horseshoe Bay and Church Bay (which is great for snorkelling). This property offers superb water views and scenic walking routes to explore. The three bedroom apartment offers convenient bus service, beauty and tranquility for the couple looking for a scenic escape.
Apartment consists of one master bedroom plus two additional bedrooms.
Master bedroom can be closed off to form a separate apartment with its own private bathroom. There is a queen bed in the master, two single beds (can be made up as a King), a queen bed and a futon couch available for your convenience. A cot is also available if a child needs somewhere to sleep. A high chair, pack and play and stroller are also available for a small fee of $50 for up to 7 days’ use.
Please note that this unit is spread over two floors: the kitchen, dining area and half bathroom are downstairs and the bedrooms and remaining bathrooms are upstairs.
Features air-conditioning as well as ceiling fans. On lovely, clear nights you can lounge outside on your lounge chairs while cooking your home-made meal on the provided BBQ. There is a full-sized kitchen, laundry facilities, wireless internet, cable TV, VCR and stereo as well as other essentials such as an iron and hair-dryer. No maid service.
The kitchen is fully equipped with china and linens plus a toaster, kettle, coffee maker (standard drip and Keurig), microwave oven, fridge and stove.
The living room is attractively furnished with walkout to the porch into the beautiful South Shore views.
The bath facilities are a shower, sink and toilet arrangement, with a jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom, and regular tub in second bathroom and a powder room as well. Bath towels are provided, as are beach towels.
The apartment is a wonderful location for walking the famous South Shore beaches or hiking along the cliffs. Horseback riding can even be arranged through Spicelands Academy. Port Royal Golf Course, The Fairmont Southampton Course and the Belmont Golf Course (with its wonderful restaurant BLU) are all nearby. The charming hamlet of Somerset Town is 10 minutes away with shops and cafes, and just beyond the town is the 200 year old Naval Dockyard, now converted into a museum and shopping concourse with pubs, crafts market, a parasail operation, charter boats, beach facilities, etc. Ferry service back into Hamilton is regularly scheduled in addition to the bus service. There are very elegant hotels and fine dining available at this end of the island as well – one does not have to go into Hamilton to enjoy a good meal or cabaret. This luxury can even be afforded to you with the very nearby Henry VII Restaurant!
