Located high on a hill with simply breathtaking views of the Great and Little Sounds, the spacious apartment with a separate bedroom is part of a large house located within 5 minutes of the pink and silver sands of Church Bay.
Sleeping accommodations are two single beds that assemble into a king-sized unit. A blow-up mattress can be made available for extra sleeping arrangements.
This unit has access to wireless internet (16Mbps- the opportunity to increase speed is available if the tenant pays for the upgrade). There is a hair dryer as well as bath and beach towels.
The kitchen is fully equipped with china and linens plus a toaster, kettle, coffee maker, microwave oven, apartment size fridge with a freezer and stove. There is a small gas BBQ.
The living room is prettily furnished and has a walkout to the gardens. There are further amenities including cable television, radio, and CD player. For your comfort there is heating and air-conditioning. There are no laundry machines but there is a line available for hand washables. The bath facilities are a shower, sink and toilet arrangement.
There are two dogs at the property, which are not allowed in the apartment and can be kept away from guests. They are very well behaved, and do not run free unless the owner is with them.
With superb snorkeling at Church Bay and scenic walking routes to explore. The suite offers great convenience to the bus service at the bottom of the hill, as well as beauty and tranquility for the couple looking for a scenic escape.
The apartment is a wonderful location for walking the famous South Shore beaches or hiking along the cliffs. Port Royal Golf Course, The Fairmont Southampton Golf Course and the Belmont Golf Course are all nearby. The charming hamlet of Somerset Town is 10 minutes away with shops and cafes, and just beyond the town is the 200 year old Naval Dockyard, now converted into a museum and shopping concourse with pubs, crafts market, a parasail operation, charter boats, beach facilities, etc. Ferry service back into Hamilton is regularly scheduled in addition to the bus service. There are very elegant hotels and fine dining available at this end of the island as well – one does not have to go into Hamilton to enjoy a good meal or cabaret.
For guests staying at this location, Oleander Cycles in Southampton know the house location and will come and pick guests up, drive them to the shop/practice grounds, and then pick up the bikes once guests leave. They are most reliable as well if there is any breakdown.
This home owner has to know if you require single beds or a king bed before you arrive.
