Special Price: $2500 per month for 2 guests.


W11. An immaculate little studio, decorated in sparkling white tones enjoys a quiet situation in Somerset overlooking the boats bobbing at their moorings. A fantastic option for your group or family vacation, when rented along with W11A one bedroom apartment.

The bed is a King size, not two twin beds as pictured.

Kitchen facilities include small fridge, 2 burner stove top, microwave oven, electric wok, kettle and coffee maker, toaster and gas barbecue. TV with cable is available in this unit, as well as air-conditioning, internet, and a hair dryer. There is no full-sized oven at this property.

Part of an estate owned by one family for over 200 years, the house has crisp modern touches for comfort: air conditioning, new windows and doors, a small kitchenette with a deck where guests can enjoy a meal and the barbecue and a modern bathroom with bathtub and shower facilities as well as sink and toilet.

Just off of the driveway at this property is an entrance to the waters of the harbour, where you can use the owners’ two single-seater kayaks and one double seat kayak, which are shared by guests and W11A. A short kayak ride from the shore is a small beach for you to enjoy!

W11A. An apartment in a house which enjoys a quiet situation in Somerset overlooking the boats bobbing at their moorings. This unit has one bedroom, a fully-equipped kitchen, and living area. An ideal option for your group or family vacation, when rented along with W11B (One Bedroom Apartment).

There is a double bed in the bedroom, and two single beds for additional guests. The apartment has a full sized kitchen and full sized appliances, as well as wireless internet.

Nearby Attractions

Public transportation by bus is outside the main gate (a 5 minute walk), or by ferry at either Cavello Bay Wharf or Rockaway Ferry Terminal which both lead into the city of Hamilton. Although it is possible to swim from the shore of this property, a sandy beach is nearby at Somerset Long Bay. Heading further east, Whale Bay and the stunning Church Bay offer wonderful South Shore snorkeling opportunities as well as pink, shell strewn beaches to explore. Snorkeling equipment can be rented at Church Bay and several of the larger beaches such as Horseshoe. A mile and a half along the coast is Horseshoe Bay, and the trio of simply exquisite coves known as Chaplin Bay, Stonehole Bay and Jobson’s Cove secreted between Horseshoe and Warwick Long Bay. All these lovely beaches are within 10 minutes moped ride of your studio accommodations in Somerset.

Fine dining would have to include Cambridge Beaches in Somerset and the renowned trio of dining-rooms at The Reefs in Southampton. The Fairmont Southampton Hotel also provides a fine dining experience along with an excellent golf course. Port Royal Golf Course and Riddell’s Bay golf Course would also make you most welcome. One of the outstanding distinctions of a Somerset location is the access to the ferry system and the proximity to Naval Dockyard. The maritime installation was established by the British in the 1820’s to provide a re-provisioning base for the navy: the extraordinary buildings have been refurbished and converted into museums, shops and cafes on a promontory that has a commanding view of the entire island. A visit to Bermuda without see Dockyard would not be complete.
