Both are both 5 minutes by bike. Flatts Village is in walking distance and there you can do a little shopping, or have a casual meal The bus stop is just beyond the garden gate at the Aquarium. The old town of St. George’s is only 15-20 minutes away by moped and well worth a couple of days exploration: many fine buildings from the 1600’s still stand and include handsome old homes, museums and churches. Make time to swim at Tobacco Bay and Clearwater Beach when in the St. George’s area: both are simply lovely- and the best park on the island: Cooper’s Island reserve: 77 acres of woodlands and sand-dunes and 5 pretty beaches. Bermuda Honeymoon

Our stay at C100 was amazing. Located right on Flatts Inlet, we had a perfect spot for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning and a cocktail at sunset. The location was perfect; tucked away from the street and right on the water. The cottage had plenty of room for 2 people with a sizable kitchen, large dining room/living room, and good size bedroom and bathroom. Nearly every room had a view of the water. There was plenty of kitchenware for cooking (though the microwave was broken during our stay) along with a propane grill on the patio. We ate every meal on the patio (which was covered) and lit. The house provides snorkeling gear and beach towels for the steps down to the water that are located next to the cottage (we recommend bringing your own water shoes though). There are a few cottages that are on this Wistowe property but this one is tucked away and we had all the privacy in the world. There is WiFi but it is very unreliable – it would only be on randomly for about 30 minutes a day; so if you need the internet then talk to the owners but it was actually a nice way to disconnect from the world and get on ‘Island Time.’ One of the best parts of the property is the Turtle Grotto. There’s literally a pond right behind the cottage where 2 giant sea turtles live; they belong to the aquarium down the street. They are super friendly and come up to you for food. We gave them bread and lettuce every day. They pretty much became our vacation pets for the week. We loved the area of Bermuda we were in as well. Our patio looked directly across the Great Sound at the Dockyard and we could easily see the cruise ships docked there. Flatts Village is located almost directly between St. Georges and Hamilton so it was a great middle spot to be. We decided to avoid scooters (Bermuda drivers can be crazy and the roads are very narrow and if you’re from the U.S., you drive on the opposite side in Bermuda – a lot to deal with!) and decided to take the bus everywhere. The bus literally went everywhere on the island and it was almost like a tour bus because almost everywhere you go on the island you have views of the water so it was nice to just sit back and take in the scenery. The nearest bus stop was right down the street at the Aquarium, it was only a 4 minute walk though it did take some traffic dodging at times. We highly recommend bus passes rather than tokens or pay as you go – you can get passes at the Aquarium. The Aquarium stop is right on 2 bus lines that connect St. Georges and Hamilton. The bus was very reliable and frequently on time - the longest we waited was about 20 minutes. Hamilton is the major bus depot for Bermuda so most routes connect through there. You can also use the bus passes on ferries around the island (including to the Dockyard) which are nice scenic trips in themselves. All in all our first trip (which was our honeymoon) to Bermuda was perfect. We had plenty of fun filled days of exploring and relaxing beach days during our time. And the best part was coming back to the cottage to enjoy a glass of wine and a Dark N Stormy on the porch during a picturesque sunset that could rival any view. There is an option to pay $50 for airport pick up from the property manager, which we highly recommend, especially if you don’t already know much about the island or how to navigate it. It also includes a stop at the grocery store. For reference, when you’re watching the C100 YouTube video, this property is the first cottage on the left-hand side of the video at the start (with the palm tree in the backyard) and again at :14.

I cannot speak highly enough of this rental and the property manager. The pictures simply do not do the unit justice and I strongly believe that this is one of the best (if not THE best) apartments on the entire island. Upon our arrival, we were picked up by the property manager who then took us to a local grocery store to stock up on supplies for the week. She then briefly showed us around the area and then took us to the apartment. The apartment itself has essentially everything you need. There are ample kitchen supplies/utensils/cookware, some basic spices/seasonings, beach towels, snorkeling gear, a fully functional grill with utensils, and even sunscreen. There is also a fully functional washer/dryer in the unit. The living space and bedroom were exactly as pictured and were in pristine condition. The bathroom has clearly been renovated very recently and was absolutely beautiful. There were also basic bar soap/shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom. There are 2 air conditioning units in the rental, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. These work wonderfully and we had no problems with being too warm or too cold. There is also a dehumidifier in the unit. While the inside of the unit is wonderful, the outside area is unmatched. There is a covered patio with a table and chairs with a lawn overlooking the beautiful Flatts inlet. There is also a 'grotto' or small lake on the property that contains two live green sea turtles that are on loan from the local aquarium. It was such a neat experience to see these amazing creatures up close! There is also a concrete stair case that allows you to have direct access to Flatts inlet from your doorstep. The concrete has clearly been recently re-poured and looks great. Some of the best snorkeling on the island is right at your doorstep! We were able to see many different types of fish and even a sea turtle and an eagle ray. The Wi-Fi was spotty and worked about 50% of the time, which did not cause us any trouble at all, but just something that you should be aware of. Overall this rental was absolutely phenomenal and I cannot wait to go back.

My husband and I just returned home from the all-time best vacation we have ever had! We stayed at C100. The house was clean and the accommodations were just perfect. Our goal was to relax by sightseeing Bermuda, to try snorkeling and kayaking, and to relax with a view of blue water. C100 offered us all of these things, and more! The home was efficiently laid-out, and centrally located so we could scooter ourselves to either end of the island easily. The manager was very knowledgeable and welcomed us with a friendly smile. She also provided us with loads of great advice to help us navigate Bermuda while we were there, and helped us learn more about Bermudian culture. You will not be disappointed with C100. If these are the objectives you also have in mind…C100 will not disappoint you and you will not want to leave!

I just want to thank both of you so much for your help regarding our recent trip to Bermuda. My husband and I had the best vacation ever, and your knowledge and experience was essential to making that happen. We arrived safely to a clean and efficient cottage, visited a different restaurant for every meal, explored the island from one end to the other, and we toured the oldest buildings/churches/lighthouses on the island. We also had the opportunity to experience activities we have never tried before like snorkeling, kayaking, and riding around on a moped the entire week. Every day was filled with exciting new adventures and new places. Our vacation to beautiful Bermuda was restorative and rejuvenating for our souls, health, and marriage. Thank you again for leading us to the right place. We’ve already referred your company to friends and family–and I’m certain you will be hearing from them!

It has been a little while now since Ryan and I holidayed in Bermuda but I wanted to write to thank you for such a great service and to congratulate you on such a high quality listing (C100). Ryan and I had a wonderful break, we were charmed with the cottage and the pond with the fish and Donatello the turtle were superb to watch with an evening cocktail. We were able to swim directly from the cottage and every day we watched a variety of fish passing by with the tide. The cottage itself was very comfortable, fully equipped, we particularly enjoyed the modern bathroom and we slept perfectly every night. Ryan had to work some days but this was easily possible thanks to a good internet service. Its central location meant we could visit all over the island with our little scooter and we had a super time exploring from north to south! Once again, thanks again for everything, we really enjoyed our stay and we couldn’t recommend the cottage highly enough to other potential renters looking for a first class Bermuda holiday.
