Near St. Anne’s Church on the beautiful South Shore in Southampton is the apartment, a separate unit in a very large private home. Built on one and one half acres of land, parts of the house are over two hundred years old. A guest wing has been built with accommodations for you to enjoy!

Bright, airy, fully furnished and equipped, the facilities consist of a bedroom with a king bed, a second bedroom with two single beds and a dresser. There are two futons for extra sleeping accommodations. A Graco portable crib can be made available to those with small children.

There is a kitchen with full sized appliances, and a private bath with tub/shower combination and the usual sink and toilet, as well as hair dryer. All china and linens are supplied as are pots and pans, iron and ironing board, etc. Laundry facilities are available. There is a gas BBQ, tables and chairs and chaises outdoors.
There is TV in the living room with cable and a DVD player. We also provide beach chairs, towels, a beach umbrella, and coolers for your beach comfort and convenience! The lovely sands and gentle waves of Church Bay are two minutes walk from the house.

This location is particularly nice for children, as there is a pretty beach and the bus services for South Shore and Middle Road within easy walking distance. The much written about Horseshoe Bay and East Whale Bay are five minutes along the South Shore Road, which is well served by public transit.

There are fine restaurants at The Fairmont Southampton Hotel, the Reefs, and at the Waterlot Inn. More casual dining can be had at the Henry VIII, Whaler Inn and Rising Sun restaurants, all within five or six minutes drive. The Fairmont Southampton Golf Course is five minutes away, as is the Port Royal Golf Course.

The town of Hamilton is about 20 minutes away by land; one does have the attractive option of going over to the Belmont Wharf on Harbour Road for a jaunt across the harbour. There is also the sleepy but charming little hamlet of Somerset Village to explore, a mere 10 minutes away. Reserve a day for the wonderful Maritime Museum out at Dockyard on Ireland Island. There you will find meticulously restored historical buildings, craft shops and art galleries, pubs, cafes, shops and fascinating displays of items from Bermuda’s extraordinarily colourful past.

Very nice place

For 3 weeks we were in this apartment. It was a very nice place where we will come back. Owners are friendly and very helpful. We miss Bermuda and this wonderful apartment. We can recommend this apartment.
