C63. Three Bedroom Cottage near Grape Bay

Nestled on a quarter acre within the heart of Paget lies our pretty cottage, within a short walk of Grape Bay beach and close to two bus routes.

A Pack 'n Play is included with the rental for your little one, free of charge.

Our bright and airy 3 bed, 2 bath cottage has many quality appointments throughout. The house offers a master bedroom with bath en-suite, polished wood floors, living room with fireplace, eat in kitchen with separate dining for 6 people, many Bermuda cedar fittings, and fine quality furnishings in the light filled rooms. Both bathrooms have a shower.

The 3 bedroom cottage can comfortably sleep up to 6 guests. The Master suite has a Queen bed and TV with DVD player, the second bedroom has a Queen bed, and the third bedroom has a Queen bed. (No twin beds as photographed) There is also a queen inflatable mattress. 

Prepare meals with ease in the full kitchen, which has a full size-fridge with freezer, beverage fridge, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, toaster oven, blender, coffee maker (Keurig), kettle, as well as cooking and eating utensils.

The cottage also has heating and air-conditioning, ceiling fans in all rooms, laundry facilities, wireless internet access, a phone for local calls, iron, ironing board and a hair dryer. Laundry facilities can be provided for extended stays, but clothes are line dried whenever possible due to the formidable cost of electricity in Bermuda. Ample linens are provided. Guests are asked to turn off air-conditioning and electric lights when they go out and to conserve water at all times to help keep overheads low.

The outside grounds provide ample space for children to safely play and at the same time provide entertaining within the bricked pergola patio complete with barbeque, and patio dining set with umbrella. The property is hedged off for maximum privacy. Close to the City of Hamilton and supermarkets, the cottage also comes with private access to the coveted south shore Grape Bay Beach, only a ten minute stroll away. Beach towels, with several beach chairs and umbrellas are provided for guests to use.

The closest beach is the Grape Bay Beach- a private beach for the use of residents in this very high end neighbourhood. The next closest public beach is Elbow Beach which has beach chair rentals and nice place to dine close by. Modern Mart grocery store is an 8 minute walk away from the property.

Nearby Attractions

This Paget location puts you close to the city of Hamilton with its pretty shops and chic cafes. Such a location suits the business traveler and those who want to be near city amenities and not too far from the surf. The parish features immaculately manicured gardens, old estates and glamorous hotels with flowers and pretty little roadside shops, galleries, cafes and churches everywhere you look.

The cottage is close to a convenient bus route (the #1 route) which will take you into the city of Hamilton in short order, or east through Smith's Parish and along to St. George’s. The #7 bus route is also nearby (about a 10 minute walk along South Road), and runs along South Road regularly to take you along South Shore Road to the fabled south coast beaches, starting with the spectacular Elbow Beach and terminating at Church Bay- about 9 miles away. In between are coves and stretches of sand to gladden the hearts of beach lovers everywhere, like Stonehole Bay, Horseshoe Bay, and Jobson's Cove.

Nearby are churches, a post office, and a moped rental shop. Other points of interest include the Paget Marsh Nature Reserve, the Botanical Gardens with the handsome National Trust jewel of an old house "Camden" (open to the public as a museum), and the Railway walking Trail, as well as all the parks that link the beaches along the south shore. Dockyard lies beyond in the west end and is well worth a visit with museums, a beach with bar, cafes, theatres, local crafts, books, and a dolphin show too!

Nice places to dine would include the family style Paraquet Cafe, Elbow Beach Hotel which has the Sea Horse Grill, Lido and Mickeys which is on the beach, the Four Ways Inn, and a cluster of pretty locations up the south shore coast including The Reefs, Pompano, Gulfstream, and Henry VIII pub.
