When we booked this rental, we thought the best thing about it would be its location; close to beaches, close to bus route, amazing view. We were wrong! The best thing about this place is the home owner. She is generous, helpful, and has lovely Bermudian stories to share. We enjoyed getting more of the flavor of the island ~including the Dark & Stormy. Yum! The next leg of our adventure will not be so cozy and I’m sure we’ll miss W10 and [the home owner’s] hospitality!

I just wanted to express how satisfied we were with our stay at this property back in June. It was exactly as described: quiet, private and very comfortable. The owner was fantastic, going above and beyond to make our stay even more enjoyable. We had a great time and will be back before too long, I hope.

First of all, thank you so much for paving the way for us to have such a wonderful vacation in Bermuda! Everything was such a delight. Our residence was great – we were – as you described – a 5 minute walk to Church Bay beach, quiet and small and private. We got tickets for the bus and ferry and took full advantage of that; our driver when we arrived (Mike, for Butch) helped us find a place to buy two week-long tickets. We went food shopping and explored each end, from the Dockyard to St. George’s. We got tickets to view the PGA tournament from the home owner, too! It was restful and lovely.

    Thank you again

My best friend and I met in Bermuda for a fun girls’ only holiday. The accommodation was perfect. It was clean and tidy and the beds were very comfortable. The homeowner was very friendly and informative. Bermuda accommodations recommended pre-booking a taxi service which worked out very well as we were arriving from different countries at different times.

The location was great. Church Bay Beach was by far our favourite as it tended to be a bit quieter than the others. The homeowner provided beach towels which was another bonus.

I would recommend at least one trip to the lighthouse for either brunch or dinner. The food was very good and the views were spectacular. If you’re going for dinner be sure to get there before sunset.

The apartment isn’t really within walking distance to many restaurants or bars but the bus services runs quite regularly and there is a bus stop just at the bottom of the hill. Be aware the buses run less frequently on the weekends so you may have a bit of a wait or you may want to opt for a taxi or hiring scooters or a car at the weekends.

Fantastic holiday overall and hope to go back again.

Amy and I just returned from W10 We had a wonderful time. The place is really nice with some great views. Nice private and cozy place. Very short work down hill to Bus stop, and 5 min walk to church bay beach. Beach towels were great and comfy bed. Homeowner very accomodating and informative.
We will be back next year. 1st timers to Bermuda.

Just got back yesterday and I must say that the unit is exactly as described above. The homeowner has everything available for you — regular towels, beach towels, chairs, etc. The location is very convenient to the bus stops (7&8) as well as Church Bay. For a newbie to Bermuda — this was the perfect choice! Plus no steep hills with this rental and fab views!

We adored [the homeowner] and W10. The location for us (away from the city and out by the sea) was just exceptional. [The homeowner] was so helpful. She had everything covered and transportation, phone numbers, great advice too. Her home was so appropriate for us, we love the outdoors and a rental scooter from Elbow Beach was great help too. Refer both of these for a great holiday in Bermuda.
Thank you for your service and we do plan on a return holiday, soon.

We have stayed here twice. In 2010 and 2011. It fit our needs perfectly, that is going native for a week. Reading lots of books, lying on the beach, swimming, snorkelling. We’ll be back soon I hope.

I would like to thank you, Fiona and Bermuda Rentals. The vacation was perfect and we had a great time on our first family vacation with our new child. [W10] was a hidden, yet accessible treasure of a guesthouse. Bermuda is a beautiful country and the people are so nice!! Having breakfast outside and atop the hill was a treat every morning.

We got the true Bermudan experience from having brunch (codfish and potatoes!) at the Reefs, drinking Rum Swizzle at the Swizzle Inn, visiting the many sites and lazing on several of the beautiful beaches.

Thanks so much for helping us organize our vacation.

I just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful week in Bermuda and that we really enjoyed staying with [the homeowner] at the W10 Southampton Apartment. During our travels about the island we had the opportunity to speak with many other travelers staying in both hotels and on cruise ships. We mentioned frequently how pleased we were with Bermudarentals.com and recommended that they check you out before planning their return trip. Everyone seemed interested.

W10 is a fantastic apartment with a lovely bedroom, great kitchen/sitting room, and a terrific outdoor area with views that could not be beat. We particularly liked the fact that we were a short walk to both the bus stop for touring all over the island and Churchill Bay where we swam and snorkeled every day. We would highly recommend this location to your future guests and we hope to return ourselves. [The homeowner], our hostess was the sweetest lady who was ever so helpful while providing us with the utmost privacy. A perfect vacation!
